MP Kevin Waugh was born and raised in Saskatoon, where he has lived for most of his life. Before being elected to Parliament in 2015, he built a distinguished career in broadcasting. In his current role as Associate Shadow Minister for Canadian Identity and Culture and as a member of the Standing Committee on Canadian Heritage, MP Waugh has been a strong advocate for preserving Canadian identity, supporting Canadian cultural institutions, and holding the government accountable on heritage legislation, including fighting former Liberal censorship bills like C-11 and C-18.
